The content was helpful and correct. There has to be a good way to present tips without losing the listener. Some episodes feel rushed, with the speaker not leaving enough time between thoughts.
The only podcast I used throughout hygiene school
My clinical supervisor recommended Today's RDH in my first semester and I listened to it constantly through all three years of school. The content bridges the gap between textbook knowledge and how hygiene actually works in practice.
The burnout and mental health episodes were particularly meaningful during a demanding program. When I graduated I felt like I had consumed hundreds of hours of CE before my first day as a licensed hygienist. Worth every minute.

I've been listening to Today's RDH for three years and it's the podcast I recommend to every hygienist who asks me how I stay current. Kara and Ben have built something genuinely valuable — not just in terms of volume (1,000+ episodes is extraordinary) but in quality. The audio articles are particularly good because they bring peer-reviewed research directly into accessible format.
The content on oral-systemic connections, specifically the episodes on cardiovascular disease and diabetes links to periodontal disease, has transformed how I communicate with patients. This is the gold standard for hygiene CE.
