OBSESSED
I have yet to find an episode on this podcast that has not moved me to tears and left me bursting with inspiration. I had the immense pleasure of meeting Dr. Hanlon years ago and from the short period I worked with her she always made me feel like I could accomplish ALL of my dreams. This woman knows what she is doing. The incredible people she interviews are the type of energy you need in your life.

Essential for women entering the profession
Our dental school's women's mentorship group started sharing Women in Dentistry episodes in our second year and it's now a regular part of our curriculum informally. Hearing from women who have navigated every challenge we're facing — associate frustrations, ownership decisions, balancing clinical work with personal life — is invaluable when you're just starting.
Dr. Hanlon is a skilled interviewer who draws genuine stories from her guests rather than rehearsed advice. Highly recommended for women at every career stage.
The first podcast that made me feel seen in dentistry
I'm not a dentist — I'm an office manager — and most dental podcasts make it clear they're not really talking to me. The Women in Dentistry Podcast is different. Dr. Hanlon explicitly includes every role in the dental team, and her guests range from assistants and hygienists to specialists and lab techs.
The episode about overcoming imposter syndrome in dental management was one of the most personally impactful pieces of content I've consumed in my career. I've shared it with every woman on our team.
