Great, informative content shared by those with experience in the industry! I highly recommend The Nifty Thrifty Dentists podcast. Always insightful and real!
Excellent for any practice that wants to improve margins
Even with an established practice, there's always room to reduce overhead and improve margins. Nifty Thrifty consistently surfaces ideas and deals I wouldn't have found on my own.
The community of dentists sharing deals and advice that grew around this podcast is a resource in itself.
Saved me tens of thousands on my startup
I listened to every episode of Nifty Thrifty before and during my practice startup and implemented dozens of their cost-saving strategies. The equipment sourcing content alone probably saved me $40,000 on my buildout.
Glenn and Vinh are genuinely funny which makes a topic that could be dry genuinely entertaining.
Saved thousands of dollars on supplies thanks to this community
Nifty Thrifty is unique in the dental podcast world because it's unapologetically about saving money. Dr. Glenn doesn't pretend that cost efficiency isn't important — he makes it a virtue.
The podcast episodes are good, but honestly the real value is the Facebook community that comes with it. Members share deals, negotiate with vendors collectively, and review products honestly. It's the kind of transparent community that dental supplier reps hate and dentists need.
Episodes can feel disorganized and conversational, which some people love and others find hard to follow. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 because the production quality could be better for the listenership size.
