Loved the stories
It's great to hear real stories from other dentists.
Great information
I love that they keep these episodes light and brief, yet useful!
I listen and I share this!
I love to listen to this pod — I find it relevant, entertaining and interesting. More importantly, I share this with the young people I teach in my position as an adjunct clinical professor. They need to know what really matters and what sources to trust. Thank you!!!
Important for dentists who care about organized dentistry
The public health and policy content on Dental Sound Bites is the most accessible version of ADA-level advocacy content available. For dentists who want to understand the policy landscape — fluoride debates, scope of practice, insurance reform — this podcast provides context that you won't get from business-focused shows.
Dr. Wright brings the private practice perspective and Dr. Hanlon brings the academic/industry view, which creates useful balance.
The ADA finally made a podcast worth listening to
Association podcasts have a reputation for being dry, careful, and ultimately forgettable. Dental Sound Bites broke that mold. Dr. Hanlon and Dr. Wright bring a real-talk energy that feels genuinely dentist-to-dentist rather than ADA press release.
The episodes on dental insurance (a topic most podcasts avoid because of sponsor relationships) are particularly gutsy and valuable. The ADA platform gives them access to policy experts and researchers that independent podcasters can't reach.
